Death of survivor Tsutomo Yamaguchi

Tsutomo Yamaguchi died. He survived the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings on August 6 and August 9, 1945 and lived to be 93, just long enough to see his name added on the official list of those who survived 2 atomic bombs. He was born on March 16, 1916, probably in Nagasaki.

From the progressions and transits on the day of the bombing of Hiroshima we get the picture of a 'lucky' man in extreme danger, in a period of limitations and restrictions. And of a person who has to shape his world all over again. It is the translation of Sun-Jupiter, Pluto with Sun-Mars-Saturn and Saturn-Uranus. And of Quaoar.

QUAOAR
There is an important role for Quaoar in the natal chart, too. Quaoar was at 25d42m Leo at birth. That is inconjunct Sun. Imagine: it means the creation of a whole new way of living, related to lost and misbalance as a consequence of that! Besides the inconjunction with the Sun, Quaoar doesn't make any other aspects. That makes the symbol of Quaoar very important.

JUPITER's TRANSIT AND THE ORIENTAL URANUS
His natal Sun is positioned between in the 26th degree of Pisces and transit Jupiter was at 26.3 degrees Virgo (opposition Sun) in August 1945, reflecting a matter of luck and positivism with quotation marks (opposition). After all: he survived, but many of his fellow citizens and family members died or were hurt, just like he was and they suffered for a long long time, just like he did. The positive thing is that he survived, twice.

PLUTO
Pluto, the symbol of politics, life and death and danger, makes aspects with Sun, Mars and Saturn. That is creating the combination of deadly danger. There is a conjunction of transit Pluto and Mars (a combination that refers to use of violence, self defence). Transit Pluto is sesquisquare natal Sun and 105 degrees from the progressed Sun (that is mirroring 'life in danger' and 'challenges/stress'). Transit Pluto is semi sextile natal Saturn. Saturn-Pluto is the aspect combination of the 'die hard' (see Astromark for more).

SATURN
Transit Saturn is inconjunct Uranus, the planet that rises before his Sun (often a sign of 'being exceptional' like in the charts of those who became very very old). The Saturn-Uranus combination is the combination of limited freedom, restrictions and 'breaking free'.

NATAL CHART
There is no known birth hour (as far as I could see on the web) and that is a pity. Now we don't know where the lights and planets were in the circle of the chart (and in the sky above). Without an hour of birth there is vital information missing. With these limitations, there is still something to see that is corresponding with some of what we know about Tsutomo Yamaguchi.

1. He is a well known person because of his survival (he was the last person alive, who survived two atomic bombs). 2. It took the officials until the year of his death to start believing that he really had been in Nagasaki AND in Hiroshima when the bombs fell.

For this we see:

1. Sun is 'calling' (no Ptolemaic aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees). People with a not aspected Sun tend to draw attention, take the lead or be a 'star' somehow.
2. Mercury inconjunct Neptune. For some reason it is often hard to believe a person with Mercury inconjunct Neptune. They are often suspected of misunderstood. In this case, Neptune is retrograding! It took all of his life to make the inconjunction exact in progression.

JUPITER AGAIN...
The survivor recently had transit Jupiter trine Sun. It is not uncommon to see Jupiter in the charts when people are dying. Jupiter is the personification of assistance, the doctor, good advice etc. But in this case he had a sort of a lucky star in the final year of his life. The officials added his name on the list of persons who survived 2 atomic bombs...
