A battle and an Oscar winning star at July 1, 1916

With Uranus so close at the possible degrees of the UK Ascendant, Jessica Adams expected a Brexit (see the interesting article at http:/www.jessicaadams.com/2016/02/22/how-astrology-predicts-a-brexit/ ) and she was right. Uranus, however, comes with surprises. Maybe that is why millions of young Brittons demonstrated their wish to Bremain, why Boris Johnson suddenly decided not to be a candidate for the job of Prime Minister, and why Farrage told the people that he didn’t mean exactly what he said. On June 25 I tweeted that there is a chance that Uranus could turn the switch off again, as it is Uranus. Any way, don’t expect orderly processes with Uranus involved.

On the first of July 1916 the Battle at the Somme (a river in France) took the lives of thousands (and in the end even 1 million) of young soldiers. They fought in the mudd. May I recommend this movie just to make you feel the atmosphere? It is https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Un_long_dimanche_de_fiançailles

Here is the chart of the hour of the battle starting. Watch Uranus.

You immediately see the Yod on the horizon with Uranus in the 8th house of life and death inconjunct the Moon conjunct Saturn in 12. The houses are not pleasant and neither is the inconjunct. Saturn inconjunct Uranus points at blokkades and limited freedom. Mars-Uranus combinations warn for the risk of getting hurt or wounded. The Ascendant in Cancer with Moon in 12 shows a tendency of sacrifices.
That is what you see when you look at this chart as the chart of a battle.

On July 1916 Olivia de Havilland was born and she is still alive. There aren’s episodes of wounds in her life. Perhaps she had beauty surgery, I don’t know, but apparently she is OK.

The same characteristics that don’t favor an attack, helped her in her carreer: stubborness and ambition. She married twice and divorced twice. Now let’s see in what way her chart and the chart of the Somme are different.

Her’s has Ruler 1 in 9 conjunct MC (that is usually a positive sign).
The Ruler 1 of the Battle was Moon in 12, remember?

Lots of astrologers feel that the 5th and 9th are lucky houses (like the one’s Mrs de Havilland has) and 8 and 12 are the houses that you won’t want to live inJ

It is so clear that you immediately see the differences between the chart of the Battle and that of Mrs de Havilland, who won Oscars.

Every chart has to be seen in the light of the circumstances. To start a battle with Neptune in the first house and so many inconjuncts and placements in 12 and an Apex in 8 is not recommended. It was one of the most bloody battles ever for both sides. The beautiful movie star had better placements and of course a better start than in a muddy field with 50% chance to loose your life. Still I wonder in what way the Yod manifested in her life. Anyone? I guess that nobody would have expected that the battle would take so many lives and that nobody would have thought that Mrs de Havilland would be such a star. That is what Uranus does: surprise and shock you.
